Telehealth is available for most visits for patients in Texas, New York, and Virginia. Initial evaluations for stimulant medication are conducted in person. Dr. Fredes may also recommend an in-person visit when it is clinically appropriate.
We are in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX), UnitedHealthcare and Optum (UBH), and Oscar Health. We also offer self-pay rates and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
Openings for new patients depend on Dr. Fredes' schedule. We will work with you to find the soonest time that aligns with your schedule and the type of care you need.
ADHD medication is prescribed only after Dr. Fredes' own complete diagnostic evaluation, never at a first visit. Initial evaluations for stimulant medication are conducted in person, and existing stimulant prescriptions are not transferred or continued without a full evaluation.
Dr. Fredes sees every patient herself. There are no NP handoffs and no rotating providers. The doctor you book with is the doctor you see, every visit. This is a core part of how MindMED operates as a solo practice.
