Dr. Fredes is a board-certified psychiatrist with comprehensive training in adult psychiatry and specialized expertise in women’s mental health, perinatal psychiatry, and integrative psychiatric care. She completed her medical degree and psychiatry residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Elmhurst Hospital in New York, one of the nation’s premier training programs. Her approach is thoughtful, evidence-based, and focused on understanding each patient as a whole person – not just a diagnosis. Dr. Fredes is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve a diverse Southlake-area population. She is licensed to practice in Texas, New York, and Virginia, enabling telehealth care across multiple states.
